Tubby and Penny:
Penny has passed but Tubby is going strong at roughly 15 years old. These two adorable senior Dachshunds came to us with many health issues. Penny passed away recently. She lived her best life with fospice mommy and daddy. She had been medically neglected all her life. Money was no object to make both of them healthy and happy. Rosie's dental alone was close to $2000. She was worth every penny. Tubby continues to live out his sunset years with our rescue in their fospice home. Sammy:
This sweet boy just joined our rescue. His Mommy was diagnosed with dementia and his Daddy was not able to care for him. He is a spry 15 year old guy who is so happy to play and run outside.
Where are our senior puppy lovers? Sammy needs a furever home.
Our most amazing story. Henry and Harry were found with their owner 4 weeks after he had passed. These are before and after pics of these two fighters! Their new families are incredible.
Our Mission
Our mission is to find loving homes for dogs whose guardians are at the end of their lives and have no one to whom they can leave their dogs upon their passing. We do not want these dogs to ever enter a shelter, but rather continue to live in a warm and loving home after the death of their guardian.
We are Mike and Robin, a married couple who love dogs and each other. We are the parents to 5 rescues of our own. We understand the love between a dog and its human.
Our Goal
Our goal is to help humans keep their pets with them as long as possible. In addition, we make pre-arrangements to take in dogs should their guardians become unable to care for them. We have a lifetime commitment to all the dogs who come into our care. They will either be adopted into a wonderful, permanent home, or will live out their lives in one of our foster homes.
