Pippa.jpg
Pippa:
This sweet Shi Tzu girl is full of sass! At 9 years old, she is ready to take walks. She doesn't like to share her humans, and should be the only dog.
Tubby and Penny:
Roughly 15 years old, these two adorable senior Dachshunds came to us with many health issues and will most likely live out their sunset years with our rescue in their foster home. Please consider a donation to help with their Fospice care.
Harry and Henry:
Perhaps our most difficult entry to our rescue to date were these boys. Harry, a full Dachshund and and Henry, a Dachshund-Whippet mix are around 4 years old. When we arrived 8 weeks ago, their owner had died ten weeks prior and had no one to check in on these guys and 3 other dogs (taken by a different rescue), so the neighbors threw what food they could over the fence. They were badly emaciated and very timid. Over the past 8 weeks, our foster has worked patiently with them and they are making great strides in their recovery. Henry is now more accepting of being pet, and Harry is is a happy little guy that we can't seem to get good pictures of!  We will update when they will be available for adoption.

Our Mission

Our mission is to find loving homes for dogs whose guardians are at the end of their lives and have no one to whom they can leave their dogs upon their passing. We do not want these dogs to ever enter a shelter, but rather continue to live in a warm and loving home after the death of their guardian.

We are Mike and Robin, a married couple who love dogs and each other. We are the parents to 5 rescues of our own. We understand the love between a dog and its human.

Our Goal

Our goal is to help humans keep their pets with them as long as possible. In addition, we make pre-arrangements to take in dogs should their guardians become unable to care for them. We have a lifetime commitment to all the dogs who come into our care. They will either be adopted into a wonderful, permanent home, or will live out their lives in one of our foster homes.

We Need Volunteers!

We are always looking for volunteers to share their expertise and help us grow the rescue. Click the button below to complete our volunteer application.
